Chapter 1 I slowly opened my eyes and looked up at the ceiling of the master bedroom. As I struggled a bit to get awake, I stared at the large fan, watching it turn. I thought I heard a noise at the bedroom door, so I looked in that direction; but something was blocking my view. It was a tan, perfectly round ball, and I could only see the top third of the door and door frame. “FUCK! It’s my belly!” I said out loud, even though I was alone in the room. I know I have put on some weight in the past couple years and especially in just the last few months. It’s not my fault though as my metabolism has slowed and my wife’s catering business is taking off so she’s always cooking extra food.
